Effective October 5, 2026
These terms cover how training works with Pure Basketball, our text messaging program, registration and payment, and the risks that come with athletic activity. Data handling is covered in our Privacy Policy, and both apply together.
1. Agreement to these terms
Pure Basketball LLC is a youth basketball training business in Gilbert and Queen Creek, Arizona, led by owner and head trainer Isaiah Easaw. "Pure Basketball", "we", "us" and "our" mean Pure Basketball LLC. "You" means the individual using our website, or the parent or legal guardian of an athlete registered in our programs.
By using the website at pure-basketball.com, booking a free trial session, registering an athlete, or otherwise taking part in our programs, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, do not book or register.
2. Our programs
- Small group training. Our main program: small group sessions for 6th to 8th grade athletes, capped at 8 athletes per session. The free trial applies to this program.
- Private training. One-on-one sessions with Coach Isaiah, booked directly with us. See section 7 for bookings and cancellations.
- Homeschool sessions. Weekday daytime private and small group sessions for homeschool athletes, booked directly with us.
- Camps. Basketball camps for 3rd to 8th grade athletes, led by Coach Isaiah with other coaches.
In-season high school athletes. Arizona AIA rules bar in-season high school athletes from training with other players, so high school athletes train 1-on-1 during their season.
Schedules, locations, coaches and program formats may change, and we will give as much notice as we reasonably can. We do not promise any particular athletic result, team placement, scholarship or playing time.
3. Free trial session
Each new 6th to 8th grade athlete may take one free small group session, booked on our calendar at /free-trial, at no charge and with no obligation to register or buy anything afterward. It is a chance to see how we train and whether the program fits. Trial bookings count toward the session cap of 8 athletes, so if you cannot make a booked session, cancel in advance so another athlete can take the spot.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the forms on this site, to register an athlete, to purchase any service, or to opt in to text messages. Athletes are minors and may take part only when a parent or legal guardian has registered them and accepted these terms on their behalf. By registering an athlete you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and have authority to agree to these terms for them.
5. SMS program terms
Program. Messages in our text messaging program come from Pure Basketball (Pure Basketball LLC) only.
How you opt in. You join only by ticking the consent checkbox on a form on this site: the contact form at /contact, the free trial form at /free-trial, or the small group registration form at /enroll. Each form has one checkbox, unticked by default, that covers these terms, our Privacy Policy and text messages. A phone number on its own does not opt you in. By ticking the checkbox you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number and that you are at least 18 years old. We never buy, rent or import phone numbers or SMS consent from a third party list.
What the checkbox covers:
- Transactional messages. Booking confirmations, session reminders, schedule changes, registration confirmations, replies to your inquiry, and account notifications.
- Marketing messages. Training program updates, event announcements and special offers.
Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts. Consent to text messages is not a condition of purchase: if you would rather not receive texts, email us and we will book or register you without them.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, and those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
STOP and HELP. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at isaiah@pure-basketball.com or . Opting out of texts does not affect your athlete's training or registration.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our Privacy Policy explains in full how mobile numbers and SMS consent are handled.
6. Registration and payment
- How you register and pay. You register through the form at /enroll or by contacting us. Small group memberships can be paid on our payment processor's secure payment page, which our website sends you to at the end of that form. Where online payment is not available, we send you a payment link or invoice by email or text.
- Prices. Current programs and prices are shown on our Programs page. The price of the plan you chose is shown to you on the payment page, or in the payment message we send you, before any charge is made.
- Small group memberships. Small group training is sold as a membership by weekly frequency: $175 per month for 1 session a week, $250 per month for 2 sessions a week, and $360 per month for 3 sessions a week.
- 3-month minimum commitment. Every small group membership carries a minimum commitment of 3 months, whichever payment option you choose. By registering you agree to pay for at least the first 3 months of the plan you chose.
- Payment options. You choose how you pay: monthly at the rate above; 3 months upfront at 10% off ($472.50, $675.00 or $972.00 for 1, 2 or 3 sessions a week); or 6 months upfront at 15% off ($892.50, $1,275.00 or $1,836.00). The payment option does not change the 3-month minimum.
- Automatic renewal. A monthly membership renews automatically and is charged each month until you cancel by contacting us. An upfront payment is a single charge covering the 3 or 6 months you chose, and it does not renew automatically: we contact you before the paid months end.
- Payment processor. Payments are currently processed through Stripe; the processor may change. Your card details are entered with and held by the payment processor, and we never see or store full card numbers.
- Securing a spot. Payment secures your athlete's registration spot. A spot is not held until payment is received.
- Failed or unpaid payments. If a payment link or invoice fails or goes unpaid, we will contact you to arrange payment. The spot is not held until the payment goes through.
- Cancellations. Same-day cancellations are charged. Sessions must be cancelled before the day of the session to avoid being charged, and no-shows are charged. See section 7.
- Refunds and transfers. Refund and transfer terms for each program are shared in your payment message and registration confirmation.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future programs. A change never applies to a session or program you have already paid for.
7. Bookings and cancellations
Bookings. Small group sessions are booked on our calendar and capped at 8 athletes per session. Private 1-on-1 sessions and homeschool sessions are booked directly with us. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us.
Cancellations. Same-day cancellations are charged. To avoid being charged, cancel a session before the day of the session. A no-show is charged as a completed session. Cancelling in advance also frees the spot for another athlete, which matters most in capped small group and free trial sessions.
8. Physical activity and assumption of risk
Inherent risk. Basketball training involves strenuous physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury, including sprains, strains, fractures, concussions and contact injuries. By registering an athlete you confirm that the athlete is physically able to take part and that you have told us about any medical condition that could affect their safety.
Medical clearance. If your athlete has an injury, a medical condition or has been under a doctor's care, you are responsible for getting clearance from your own healthcare provider before they train. Our coaches do not provide medical clearance, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing said during training is medical advice.
Release. To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, you assume the ordinary risks of athletic participation and release Pure Basketball LLC, its coaches and staff from claims arising out of those ordinary risks. Nothing in these terms releases liability that cannot lawfully be released, including liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Emergency medical care. If a parent or guardian cannot be reached in an emergency, you authorize us to seek emergency medical care for the athlete at your expense.
Signed waiver. We may ask you to sign a separate waiver at registration. These terms apply from the moment you book a free trial session, whether or not a separate waiver has been signed yet.
9. Conduct
Athletes, parents and guardians are expected to treat coaches, staff, other athletes and facility hosts with respect, to arrive on time, and to follow the rules of every facility we train in. We may end a session, or remove an athlete from a program, for conduct that puts athletes or coaches at risk or that is abusive toward anyone. You also agree not to misuse this website, including by submitting false information or another person's phone number, or by interfering with how the site works.
10. Photos and media
We may photograph or film sessions and events, for coaching and for use in our own content, including our website and social media. You can opt your athlete out at any time by emailing isaiah@pure-basketball.com, and you can ask us to take down a specific photo or clip. We will remove it from anything we control. Our Privacy Policy says more.
11. Intellectual property
The Pure Basketball name and logo, and the text, images, video, drills, training plans and other materials on this site and in our programs, belong to Pure Basketball LLC or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial training. You may not copy, resell or republish them without our written permission.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Training information on this site is general and is not medical advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our programs or this site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly with us will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Maricopa County, Arizona.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in advance, the date at the top of the page will change, and the current version always lives on this page. Continuing to use our site or programs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
